Indoor morning session in Princetown and outdoor afternoon session about 10 minutes’ drive from Princetown.

The morning workshop is an indoor session looking at the various stages and levels of prehistory on Dartmoor looking at evidence found and also artifacts from those periods. The afternoon session will be out in the field on the open moors at Merrivale setting the morning’s session into historical context outdoors looking at a cross section of archaeology over a period of about 10,000 years to the present time.

Simon Dell – Director of Moorland Guides on Dartmoor is a published author on aspects of Dartmoor as well as other subjects. He has led walks on Dartmoor for over 15 years and is a former chairman of the local Dartmoor Rescue Group

tea and coffee will be supplied.  Please bring a packed lunch.
