WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
Devon & Cornwall regional coordinator, Jamie Langler has been working with Plantlife to offer a free day of training with two separate workshops to be attended by all participants (to comply with Plantlife’s policy on social distancing).
Part 1 focuses on the temperate rainforest habitat. Through practical exercises, exploration and discussion you will learn what defines this habitat and what you and your clients can do through citizen science to support its conservation.
Part 2 will provide you with confidence and skills in lichen and fern identification. The practical activities you will undertake are ones that you can replicate with those you work with. As well as learning basic ID skills you will have access to free ID materials that you can take away with you and use in your work.
