WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
Workshop number capped to 36 to allow manageable break outs-another date will be added if demand dictates.
Theory session virtually ahead of Winter series of night navigation events across the Central Region. Workshop consists of 30 minutes presentation based on 5 D's of navigation (Destination, Direction, Distance, Duration and Description, plus Dangers), followed by scenario/navigation leg workshops. Debrief/questions at session end.
Tips/gear/skills/when needed covered.
There will also be a discussion on the NNAS sheme/awards (peer led-group discussion).
Delivered by Central Region Support Volunteers-and aimed at all schemes/awards where poor visibility could challenge navigation.

OL17 1:25,000 Snowdon map, compass, paper and pen.
Computer/screen compatible with Zoom/Teams platforms.
