Workshop Content
A full-day course covering all elements of the security on steep ground syllabus, with particular focus on those areas of steep-ground management which the participants on the course would like help with.
It’s an area of the syllabus which can confuse candidates and seasoned Mountain Leader’s alike, so the focus will be to simplify the principles and practices of managing groups in steep ground, helping people develop a toolbox of skills which they feel comfortable using and know when to use.
During the course, you’ll get lots of opportunities to ask questions, practice techniques, and get feedback, all with the aim of enabling you to approach your assessment and/or work as a Mountain Leader with much greater confidence.
