  Winter AGM and CPD Weekend

The Winter AGM and CPD weekend is being held at Glenmore Lodge on the 5-7 of January 2024.

There are limited spaces for this event offering AMI members a full weekend with two workshops.  

The price for the full weekend including the AGM dinner, accommodation in a twin bed room, a packed lunch, and tea and cake at Glenmore Lodge is £120 per person This does NOT include the workshops, which are priced separately.

Other ticket types are available for Day Delegates starting from £20 per person

Each full day workshop session is £80 - please choose and pay for the sessions once you have booked your ticket. We are also running half day sessions on Saturday only. These will be open to full and trainee members of the Association. These are priced at £40 per session. Please book a morning and an afternoon session.

This weekend is geared towards people getting ready and building towards their Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor assessment and full Winter and Mountaineering and Climbing Instructors who have been out of the loop and would like to update their skills in a range of areas.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is available at Glenmore Lodge in twin bed rooms for weekend residential delegates. There is limited availability over the weekend so please don't delay booking if you are planning to stay. 

BOOKING

All bookings are to be made through the Candidate Management System (CMS). For weekend delegates, please make sure you book the whole weekend before choosing your individual workshops and only choose one workshop on Saturday and one workshop on the Sunday.

CLOSING DATE

The closing date for bookings will be 11th December 2023. We cannot accept any bookings after this date. 

Refund policy for any bookable events: Workshop attendance cannot be cancelled online; attendees need to call or email Mountain Training. If cancellations are received up to eight weeks before the course attendees will get a full refund. Four weeks before the course, 50% refund. Less than four weeks before the course date no refund unless a reserve is able to fill the slot. If a particular workshop has very low bookings it may not run and you will be offered an alternative.
