WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
Climbing for All is a one day course providing an introduction to instructing disabled people in climbing. The course has now been delivered for over 11 years and was developed by Adventure for All and Mountain Training England and Association of Mountaineering Instructors.
The purpose of the course is to provide instructors and coaches increased confidence and skills to enable disabled people to experience and enjoy climbing. The course also provides you with an opportunity to test you instructing and coaching skills in new territories.
The course is delivered in two halves

All specialist equipment will be provided for the course. Please bring your own personal climbing equipment with you including the following.

Food is not provided. The centre has good café facilities.
WORKSHOP PROVIDER CREDENTIALS
Gavin Kelly is a mountaineering instructor and coach. He has coached the GB paraclimbing team and provides accessible climbing training and technical advice for centres and schools. He is a course director for a range of schemes and moderator for Mountain Training.

Cancellation by you - More than 28 days before the course start date; you will receive a full refund. 28 days or closer to the course start date; you are liable for the full course fee.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE EVENT
Your CPD record - If you attend this event and it counts as CPD, your CPD point/s will automatically be added to your record in due course - you will not need to add it yourself.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for the workshop provider to complete the event in the system and assign you your CPD, thank you.
