WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
Series of scenario based workshops covering trauma, environmental factors, massive bleeding, boo boos etc. Each workshop will cover a deifferent topic.
Instructors are required to hold an appropriate first aid certificate for compliance, a tick in the box. Hopefully it is not required too often, but should it be needed how confident are you?
Particularly if your casualty/client is 'Big Sick' with polytrauma for example head injury, chest injury and a massive bleed.
We will look at whats in your bag and what might be useful to carry.
The outcomes will be you will be able to practice skills and increase confidence to act with in scope of practice.
The massive bleed workshop will come with a Stop the Bleed certificate.
We will meet at Beacon Hill Car Park, signposted from A40 near Stokenchurch.
