This workshop will be hosted by Mountain Training Scotland for their providers of both the Skills Courses and the Qualification Courses. 

Teaching personal climbing and assessing it brings its own set of risks, how we do this in a progressive and safe manner requires thought, adding in the time constraints and practicalities of syllabuses courses creates more challenges. During this one day workshop we will look at good practice for developing personal climbing and how we can manage this on both training and assessment courses.

The day will be part fronted up by Mountain Training Scotland Staff and part by participants, information of any preparation needed prior to the workshop will be sent out to participants. 

The day will be split between indoors and outdoors, please bring appropriate out kit for the weather, climbing equipment for single pitch climbing and a packed lunch.
