Association of Mountaineering Instructors  (AMI)

 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Associated CPD Weekend 

The Annual General Meeting of the Association will take place at Plas y Brenin, Saturday 26th April 2025 (18:00) along with the annual associated CPD workshops on 25-27 April 2025.

How to book:

1. Please initally select one of the Booking Options 1-7.

2. Then select the Session(s) (workshops) you would like to book. Please make sure your workshops do not clash.

3. Pay for the selected Booking Option and Session(s).

Bookings will close at midday on Friday 4th April 2025.

Refund policy for any bookable events: Workshop attendance cannot be cancelled online, attendees need to call Mountain Training. If cancellations are received up to eight weeks before the course attendees will get a full refund. Less than eight weeks, but more than four weeks before the course, 50% refund. Less than four weeks before the course date no refund, unless a reserve is able to fill the slot. If a particular workshop has very low bookings it may not run and you will be offered an alternative.  

Each workshop has the name of the trainer allocated to it. Please note that, due to circumstances beyond our control, this information may be subject to change without notice.

Contact information: Please ensure that your contact details and the emergency contact information is up to date in your Mountain Training CMS account.

Accommodation information: There is no accommodation available to book through this site. If you need accommodation for the weekend, please contact Plas y Brenin directly to enquire about availability or make your own arrangements with other venues, campsites etc.

Travel: We are making efforts to ensure that, as far as possible, the locations for our events are accessible by public transport or active travel, and we encourage you to play your part if you can. Details on transport options for the venue can be found by clicking these links.

AGM Dinner: Dinner on Saturday evening can be booked separately, or as part of a day or weekend ticket. Please note that if you have any dietary requirements, you should add this detail to the Special Requirements box in your Mountain Training CMS account.

Friday: If you are coming for the weekend, we look forward to seeing you in the bar at Plas y Brenin for a social meet up on Friday evening.
