This course will help create a clearer picture with the potential to provide guidance as to what is relevant to each of our awards similar to the technical difficulty (TD) categories that exist in orienteering coaching.During the day we will explore systematic progressions for teaching navigation at each level. Using innovative ideas and exercises candidates should end the day with a tool box of new ideas and an ability to analyse their students understanding of the concepts and provide simple easy steps to support their learning from the class room to mountain. The workshop is often a great refresher of personal navigation skills as well.
